Laura and Simon’s images are winging their way to Auckland to them but we couldn’t wait… we just had to share their beautiful day with you all

Laura and Simon got married on the 9th January at Darjon Vineyard on a stunning day…

We first met Laura & Simon when they came to us with their mums and we were stoked that they picked us to be a part of their big day.

Our day started with the girls as they got ready. There was loads of nervous excitement in the air as we photographed Laura’s details…

 

 

 

 

and watched Laura as she got her hair & make-up done

It was finally time for Laura to put on her dress and Laura’s mum was there to lend a hand

Finally, with Laura and her bridemaids looking stunning, it was time for us to head off to Darjon and check in with Simon to see how his nerves were as he awaited Laura’s arrival.

Their guests arrived as we did, in a double decker bus… everyone buzzing with excitement!

I don’t think there was a dry eye when it came time for Laura & Simon to light a candle in memory of both of their Dad’s who had passed away.

it wasn’t much longer before they were announced Mr & Mrs Mummery

after the congratulations and family photos were done with… we headed off around the Vineyard with their awesome bridal party who had us in stitches

We took advantage of the vines…

and we think the photos turned out pretty good considering we had a groom who didn’t like to be photographed while sitting!!!!!! Needless to say, he was the butt of ALOT of our jokes 😉

Laura & Simon were extremely nervous for their photos and even nervously laughed their way through the entire practice shoot we did a couple days earlier… but it certainly doesn’t show in these stunning images! You guys were pros!

This was our attempt at an awkward family photo… i think we did fairly well…

and then the boys thought they were on form and had a bit of a play in front of the camera

before we moved back to something a little more easy on the eye… (the bride & groom)

We joined Laura & Simon at their reception even though the boys wanted to keep taking photos and we’re glad we did! We got to know them both a wee bit more by what their friends and family had to say about them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And with that, Laura & Simon were married!
